Nos engagements

La Forêt des Champos, an eco-friendly nature-themed amusement park

Behind La Forêt des Champos is Fabulus — a company like no other.
Fabulus is a mission-driven company, meaning it doesn’t just run a leisure park: it aims to make a difference, in its own way, by placing social and environmental impact at the heart of every decision.

Fabulus is committed to upholding four founding principles:

  • Creating connections between people, especially through shared, intergenerational leisure experiences

  • Highlighting and prioritizing local human and cultural richness

  • Helping sensitive ecosystems thrive, by protecting biodiversity and raising awareness about its importance

  • Continuously reducing the environmental footprint of its activities, especially waste generation

Our purpose:
→ Through the creation of shared emotional experiences, Fabulus brings people together for a more fulfilling and responsible society.

Visiting La Forêt des Champos means combining fun with personal growth and movement, while gaining awareness of how nature works.

Understanding and Preserving Ecosystems

The park’s theme, brought to life through storytelling, invites children to explore the little-known world of fungi and their vital roles. The mushroom characters embody the fragility of nature, while the treasure hunt and tales reflect real biological and ecological processes.

Beyond mushrooms alone, the narrative raises awareness about how nature functions, including:

  • The root network

  • The role of humus

  • The circulation of nutrients and water

  • Photosynthesis, and more.

A Place for Personal and Psychomotor Development

The aerial activities offered are not just fun — they’re also enriching and empowering. As visitors, young and old alike, move across suspended walkways and elevated nets, they engage skills that are rarely called upon in everyday life:

  • Balance

  • Coordination

  • Concentration

  • Stress management

A Heritage-Based and Historical Approach

Truff, our emblematic truffle character, embodies the deep connection with the Drôme des Collines region — France’s leading producer of black truffles.

By celebrating this local treasure, the park helps preserve and pass on a rich culture and centuries-old know-how.

A True Disconnection

Here, screens stay tucked away in bags.

It’s all about exploration, curiosity, free play, and genuine connection. A day spent in nature creates authentic, lasting memories—so much more meaningful than just scrolling on your phone.

Intergenerational Sharing

At La Forêt des Champos, we believe that play knows no age.

Our activities are designed to be enjoyed together—by families, siblings, and across generations. Here, grandparents and children aren’t limited to observer or supervisor roles: everyone plays together.

Our trails are accessible, safe, and suitable for all ages, with no competitive spirit, so every moment becomes one of support, laughter, and shared memories.

A Gentle Integration into the Landscape

Our structures are made from natural and sustainable materials: untreated wood, nets, ropes…

They blend seamlessly into the forest without disturbing it. Most importantly, they are reversible—able to be dismantled without leaving any trace. None of our attractions consume much energy; our vision of leisure is gentle, sustainable, and environmentally respectful.
